COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A heavily-hopped, West Coast-style IPA. Bold, complex flavors with a solid malt backbone and assertive hop profile, along with cold conditioning give this beer its crisp, clean finish.

Cask at Great British Beer Festival 2013. Poured an amber/ yellow colour with a halo of rocky, white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and sherbet. Orange peal and tropical fruit flavours which turn to rounded, increasing bitter hop resin notes with a biscuity malt backbone.

Flavor is pleasant enough with a bite from citrus and resin (mostly resin) and a kind of slick and almost chewy mouthfeel. Its a decent IPA, but not a very interesting one... Almost comes off like a DIPA with the malty and chewy palate

Can. Grabbed a can of this at the last gas station before Baxter State Park in Millenocket ME. My wifes family has a camp nearby. This was a real treat and suprise. Piney, zippy, and straightforward. A classic IPA. Great work and good to see some new stuff coming out of Lewiston.

My Bottom Line:
This woodsy IPA shares plenty of leafy, grassy, earthy and wooden resins, toppling residual sugars and taking control of the very bitter finish.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam sits atop the misty amber shine.
-The mouthfeel is comfortable, cushion-y.
-Alcohol is felt here and there, strangely enough.
-Malt flavors are shy.
-There isnt much flavor definition in the middle.
-This IPA looks great, feels great, but is otherwise a bit rough around the edges.

Can.

On tap @ Taste Of Maine. Clear orange body topped by a thick light gold head. Piney hop profile, surprisingly fresh, with nice caramel malt in support. Good bitter bite in the finish.

Can. Body is a coppery red with a very large head coming out of the can and aromas of caramel, grass, faint herbs and just a hint of resin. Flavor is pleasant enough with a bite from citrus and resin (mostly resin) and a kind of slick and almost chewy mouthfeel. Its a decent IPA, but not a very interesting one... Almost comes off like a DIPA with the malty and chewy palate.
