COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A heavily-hopped, West Coast-style IPA. Bold, complex flavors with a solid malt backbone and assertive hop profile, along with cold conditioning give this beer its crisp, clean finish.

My latest go to IPA! While definitely NOT a session beer, well worth adding a bit of bite to top off your day! On tap slightly smoother than can but both an intense time!

Can. Pours a clear copper body with a great frothy off-white head that left lots of sticky lacing. The nose is so bursting with hops that I can smell it on the table two feet away from me. Nice bright citrusy hops with a moderate caramel malt base. The flavor is rather heavy on the bitterness with sticky resiny hops and a slightly sweet caramel malt base. The malt is pretty prominent, but yet it doesn’t overpower or obscure the fresh complex hop notes. Medium bodied, just bordering on chewy without being sticky or cloying, nice soft carbonation. This is a pretty nice IPA, I could have a few of these.

12oz can in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of citrusy and floral hops plus pale/caramel malts. Flavor the same. Average texture. Nothing really stands out with this beer.

355ml can. Nice look, hazy amber with some big off white head. Intense hop aroma, not entirely balanced. Tastes strongly of resin bitterness, some minor sweet notes. Body is a little thin but not watery. Overall, strongly hopped but not much else. Decent if you want a bitter beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy brown pour, mildly hoppy aroma. VERY hoppy flavor, citrus and grass. A nice IPA!

Cloudy 14 karat pour with a tightly packed eggshell head. Bright citrus, pith, rind, and evergreen accompanied by a touch of honey. Pretty damn good IPA in a can!

From the can poured in to tulip. Pours hazy copper color with orangish white head and good lacing. Good pine, grass hop aromas. Initial taste has solid malt moving quickly to hoppy resin pine needles and a bit of citrus and clean slightly bitter finish.

12oz can pours orange with white head. Pine aroma. Pine and hop taste. Might be a bit dated when trying it.

Baxter Stowaway IPA is a cloudy ale that straddles golden and amber, topped with a thin, off white foam that leaves attractive lacing on the glass. It has a solid, fresh pine aroma with notes of grapefruit peel and black pepper. It’s pretty light bodied. It’s smooth and maybe a bit watery. It has a chalky finish. Ample bitterness of pine resin lasts throughout the sip and past the swallow. It’s peppery and dry. This seems like something you’d be able to get in a brewpub on the West Coast in the late ’90s; a throwback of sorts. Quite solid.
