A heavily-hopped, West Coast-style IPA. Bold, complex flavors with a solid malt backbone and assertive hop profile, along with cold conditioning give this beer its crisp, clean finish.

From the can poured in to tulip. Pours hazy copper color with orangish white head and good lacing. Good pine, grass hop aromas. Initial taste has solid malt moving quickly to hoppy resin pine needles and a bit of citrus and clean slightly bitter finish.

Drank from can. Loads of pine and grapefruit with hints of caramel and biscuit. Juicy oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation.

Crisp, slightly hazy golden and lightly copper body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, pine, citrus, resin and dank hops all with a touch of sweetness noticeable in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive fresh hop flavour with a lot of grass, hay, pine, grapefruit and very pungent citrus flavours, all with a well supportive malt backbone and some sweetness from apricot and peaches. Aftertaste is well-balanced with a great fresh hop flavour, but an equally present malt and sweetness that shows very well throughout. Overall, a very nice IPA with a great profile and amazing balance - surprising and delicious! Great to sample, given this is my first trip to Maine and I was able to find this at a 7-11! I sampled this twelve ounce can next door to my hotel at a 7-11 in Portland, Maine, available as a single can for US$2,29 sampled in my hotel room a few minutes later on 28-July-2016.

On draft. I had no expectations, but this still surprised me. The base beer is clean and neutral and allows the hop profile to dominate. The hops are mostly pine, although there was some resin and citrus too. Nothing crazy, just a very well done West Coast IPA.

16oz at Mei Mei pours a clear amber with some frothy, white head. Nose has the classic IPA character, orange rind, grapefruit, mild herbs, a little grist. Flavor has orange and grapefruit, herbs, some cracker, biscuit. Dry finish.

This is a copper color brew with a bitter aspirin flavor. It smells like woody pine and aside from being heavy and sweet there is nothing else wrong with it.

12 oz can shared by a friend, thanks Mike! Canned in October 2015 if I read the dating correctly, must have been sitting in the liquor store. Clear amber orange with off-white head. Aromas of caramel, malt, floral notes, toasty notes. Tastes of malt, caramel, toast, biscuit, light citrus. Medium body with a dry finish.

Drank from a pint glass poured from a twelve ounce can. Thank you KevDawg! Not a fan of this IPA, all I taste are hops, where my malts!?

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Julio’s Liquors. Aroma is strong fruit and citrus. Appearance is beautiful, clear, dark copper with minimal attractive sparkle, two-finger width fluffy white head after aggressive pour and nice sudsy lacing. Taste is surprisingly forward sweet malt (mainly caramel) with fruit and citrus with bitter ending. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, slightly sticky texture, average carbonation (could be a tad more) and bitter, dry, crisp finish. Overall, this is a nice IPA. Good West Coast flavor without getting overly bitter. Surprising amount of malt in the flavor.
