A heavily-hopped, West Coast-style IPA. Bold, complex flavors with a solid malt backbone and assertive hop profile, along with cold conditioning give this beer its crisp, clean finish.

From the can poured in to tulip. Pours hazy copper color with orangish white head and good lacing. Good pine, grass hop aromas. Initial taste has solid malt moving quickly to hoppy resin pine needles and a bit of citrus and clean slightly bitter finish.

12 oz can shared by a friend, thanks Mike! Canned in October 2015 if I read the dating correctly, must have been sitting in the liquor store. Clear amber orange with off-white head. Aromas of caramel, malt, floral notes, toasty notes. Tastes of malt, caramel, toast, biscuit, light citrus. Medium body with a dry finish.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Julio’s Liquors. Aroma is strong fruit and citrus. Appearance is beautiful, clear, dark copper with minimal attractive sparkle, two-finger width fluffy white head after aggressive pour and nice sudsy lacing. Taste is surprisingly forward sweet malt (mainly caramel) with fruit and citrus with bitter ending. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin, slightly sticky texture, average carbonation (could be a tad more) and bitter, dry, crisp finish. Overall, this is a nice IPA. Good West Coast flavor without getting overly bitter. Surprising amount of malt in the flavor.

APPEARANCE- light amber with a golden hue, head pours perfectly white and laces nicely. NOSE- Light aroma of fruity hop. just the right amount. FLAVOR- strongly resinous flavors abound, but do not overpower my tastebuds. Enough fruitiness in the hop to keep it light. NOTES- really well balanced ipa.

Can. Pours bright, clear orange with a large and dense beige head. Very mild nose sweet and candyish with raw hap/vegetal undertones. Taste bone-dry with a little orangey-crystal flitting in the background, not particularly juicy but with mild resin, chewy medium caramel, and earth and soap. Does remind of the IPAs of a decade ago, though with only medium bitterness and slightly oilier (no brutality offered here). Very smooth fullish body, hop aromatics are dead by this point but their beautiful oils remain (esepcially orange, tangerine, very light pineapple). Clean and palate cleansing with no apparent alcohol, very pleasant if a little bland, a great choice for a summer on the pier or trail. Very nice. [2015.12.27: 3.7]

Smells of pineapple mango pine resin for the nice malt almost caramel backdrop. It’s got a perfect gold amber color to it. Taste flood your mouth tropical fruits and a strong pine resin finish nice malt backbone to smooth out all the hops. Nice carbonation perfect for this beer. Baxter’s always making good stuff keep up the good work.
