UPDATED: MAY 6, 2012 Tomahawk,Millennium, Styrian and US Perle. Cloudy brown pour. Looks like someone had the runs. Decent lacing with agitation though. Soft hop and malt nose - more malt though. Mild body. Lots of alcohol. Very malt heavy. More a strong ale than anything. Some bitterness on the back end, but it is brief and brisk. Seems underdone - perhaps rushed through conditioning? Could only taste alcohol (rather than hops with this style) 10 minutes later waiting for the train. I hate to give such a low score to a new brewery in Yokohama, but this was not that enjoyable. It would probably get a lower rating were this not the case (sorry for the bias).
