It’s unclear, light golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma is like the sweet flavor with notes of banana, banana peel, light yeast and wheat, and the finish is dry and just a little spicy.

Tried this one after a long trek up to the beautiful Schloss Neuschwanstein in Schwangau. Looks good; a massive plume of white sits a good half inch from the rim of the glass fuelled by mad flurries of carbonation. The body an opaque caramel gold. Clean and well pronounced candied lemon, banana, vanilla and doughy wheat malt. Spritzy and delicate in the mouth. Truckloads of esters and phenols like sweet banana, strawberry, vanilla, lemon zest, bubblegum and fairy floss, and cloves in back. A base of toasted malt and powdery wheat is there too. Finishes crisp, clean and rather short with just a little tangy fruit showing. I smashed this back with such haste that a second was soon needed. Refeshing! Bottle 50cl, a cloudy golden-orange beer with a creamy head. Nose is fruity on apples and pineapple. Aroma is grainy with some weizen notes and good fruit notes, a correct hefeweizen.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A hazy, golden beer with a dense, off-white head. The aroma has banana dominating, a bit cloying. Cloves and some caramel too. The flavor is a bit on the sweet side, banana, wheat, some lemon and cloves. Medium body, quite effervescent, but a bit hard on the carbonation. Banana finish. Not bad, but a bit boring and too sweetish. 110129

Hazy - murky yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, banana, bubble gum, clove, glue notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light fruity acidic with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20110129]
