2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This poured a golden color with little head. Aroma contains salty lemons. Flavor is lacking that salt and is sour similar to a berliner. This is like gose light. Overall refreshing but not complex.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma of grains, coriander, some fruitiness, lemon. Flavour is mild sour, much milder than I had hoped. Overall I expected more from this historic brew.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours hazy yellow/gold with lots of carbonation, little head. Aroma is lemon, funk. Taste is slightly sour/salty though not overpowering. Savory element from the spices though not easily identifiable on my palate. Easy drinker but not anything to write home about for me.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy gold with a thin head. Light salt and tartness blend beautifully with the wheat backbone.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Resurrection of a bizarre historical beer style from 18th-century Leipzig, a wheat beer with lactic fermentation, salt (!) and coriander (and thus an exception to the Reinheitsgebot)... Stable, creamy, snow white head on top of a cloudy, ’dirty’ blonde beer. Sour and somewhat grainy aroma with wheat, coriander, sweat, jute, yoghurt, grapefruit and mango and indeed, a sniff of salt seems to shine through. Taste a dry sourishness, wheaty and bready, sour cream, just a tad of saltiness though (fortunately) very subtle, finishing again in dry sourishness, but thirst-quenching alright. Interesting, though not my cup of tea.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma of coriander, maybe no hop at all, fresh character, just a little bit of malty notes. It reminds me somehow a blanche (surely wheat malt) but with more tartness, very light bodied, in the middle between sweet and salty. Fizzy with a very peculiar astringent finish.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Odd gose to me, not as tart as I expect, has a fruity aroma and the taste has some of the banana nutty flavors you get in a Belgian double. Slight salty, slight tart, yeast fruity esters with a barnyard finish. Good gose and maybe more true to the style, but I prefer the more tartness in my gose.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Smooth beginning, hints of coriander. Fresh, smooth, easy to drink. No salt! (where is it???). Not too sour, nice and smooth.
A bit too smooth and a bit too "mainstream"... 10/12/12/11
