3.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draught served at 42˚
Appearance was bright clear golden with a large white head that disappears rapidly and leaves good lacing.
Smell was almost non-existent, just very slight citrus.
Taste is bubblegum and sour banana, nice slightly bitter finish, long-lasting.
Classic example of a weizen, very drinkable, to be sought after.

Draught at the brewpub. This is my first gose, and I look forward to it. The color is murky, dark golden and the head is huge and creamy. The aroma has notes of fruit, peach, dust, grain and chewing gum. The flavour is slightly sour, slightly sweet and fruity with lemon being the dominant fruit note. It’s very refreshing, uncomplicated and nice.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
33 cL bottle. Something of a lemon citrus aroma. Hazy light gold color with a white head that laced a bit. Medium body with sharp, fizzy carbonation. The flavor is lemon, wheat, coriander and rather salty. A tad funky sour, but not distressingly so. The finish is dry, a little astringent, and there is a character like chewing on berry seeds - sort of bitter and woody. Unique. Can’t see it as my beer on a desert island, but every so often.

Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured a hazy yellow color with a large off-white head that diminished slowly with minimal lacing. Good aroma of wheat and spice. Medium body with smooth texture. Good sour citrus fruity bittersweet flavor with a complex sweet & sour finish of medium duration. Interesting complex brew.

LCRBM2: the self-bottled swing top bottle from RPattinson, more than 5 years old, opens with a loud bang and the precious brew gushes out of the bottle. Soft lemon aroma. Mellow and soft lemon flavor. Thinnish, and just a bit salty. This delicious brew ages very well. Without any thought a great beer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Frischer, sanfter Antrunk, eine leicht säuerliche Kräuternote wird stärker erkennbar. Im Mittelteil entfaltet sich der Geschmack richtig und breitet sich im Mund angenehm und füllig aus. Frisch-würziger Koriander-Nachgeschmack, kurz sauer, dann herb werdend.
