COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This original Leipzig beer specialty lends us the name for our brewery. Gose is a regional beer specialty that was brought to Saxony-Anhalt in the year 1738. Originally Gose comes from Goslar, a small town in Lower Saxony, and the river “Gose” in this town. This beer specialty has a refreshing, slightly sour taste and is ideal for quenching your thirst. Gose is brewed with the additional ingredients lactic acid, cilantro, and salt. Gose is a top-fermented beer with 4,5 Vol. % alcohol and 10,8 % wort. You can enjoy it in different variations.

This beer was awesome! Bright cloudy gold pour with a crackling white head. Nose is herbal with a really nice acidity and tartness. Wonderful spice in the nose and lightly bready notes. Just awesome.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Nose brings out lots of coriander and salt upfront, especially coriander. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of coriander spices that dominate, with light salt and some citrus. A bit different than most goses due to the coriander. Nice stuff.

In bottiglia. Colore giallo dorato, leggermente velata. poca schiuma e poco persistente. Sapori tenui di coriandolo, lattico, e cereale. Al palato corpo leggero, scorre veloce lasciando un retrogusto leggermente salato e anche un lieve metallico che disturba la bevuta.

Bottle - though significantly drabber than the one pictured. Nose is hint of sour , lemon, the corriander is very pronounced. Taste is lightly sour (think very gentle Berliner Weiss) leading to lots of corriander, then a suprisingly sweet fruity, caramel, larger like midsection and a light finish, with a hint of the salt. It’s too fizzy for me and the finish quickly starts to feel too thin. This is a difficult beer to rate, it seems to be an outstanding alternative to a larger, it’s a light refresher with more depth... but... that in of itself does not make it a great, or even a good, beer.

hazy yellow with a cm of fizzy, medium-fine egg-shell head. Aroma is dusty wheat grain, light berry, lager-like. body is creamy, but slightly watery, rather light. Light burn. Flavor is a bit of fake berry (strawberry, blue raspberry dum dum), a touch of lemon grass, candy, and salt. A touch of tartness. A nice, somewhat standard tasting gose. The tartness becomes more and more refreshing.
