Süffiger Antrunk von ausbalanciertem Malz, sowohl helle als auch dunkle Töne sind spürbar. Zudem deutlich getreidig, später setzt hier eine brennende Alkoholnote ein, zum Glück eher im hinteren Teil. Die ab dem Mittelteil vorhandene Süße ist verhalten und passt sich besonders dem Gerstenton gut an. Im Abgang nimmt das Bier dann typisch bockig würzige Noten an, die sich im Nachgeschmack mit einem expandieren der Malzaromen verfielfältigen. Hier auch cremig und etwas nach Bitterschokolade. Besonders im Abgang ein sehr sehr runder Bock mit viel Tiefgang. Vielen Dank an kappldav123 für das Bier! /8/11/12//12

Handbottled.
Clear medium amber color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, roasted, caramel, light brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091123]

Biggish offwhite lasting head. Deep reddish brown body. Fruity malty strawberry aroma with cinnamon notes. Dry-sweet malty cinnamon and earthy grassy taste with dusty caramel notes. Fullish body. Mild mouthfeel. Dry roasty grassy aftertaste with mealy, strawy, buttery notes. Very nice. Lovely dryness. (0.5l draft at brewpub.)

Bottle at Papsø. Clear orange coloured with a small off white head. Sweet aroma of malts, caramel and hay. Sweet flavour of malts, caramel and hay with notes of hops. Hoppy finish.

Handbottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of straw, caramel, and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and some straw, leading to a dry caramel finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.
