3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Skyview (4738) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - AUG 7, 2007
Picked up a single 12-oz bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, Oregon. Pours a semi-clear caramel amber brew with a very fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a bubbly ring with a thin film on top of brew. Aroma of light bread dough, some roasted caramel malt, flowery hops, aand some grits. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with a good balance of malty caramel grain and citrus bitter flavor. Finish is slightly metalic, and then a semi-sweet malty flavor with some slight bitterness after the finish.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 bhensonb (7131) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 4, 2007
Aroma of grassy hop and medium malt. Light amber color, with a white head that quickly departed. Starts lightly sweet, develops medium mouthfeel as the carbonation leaves, gets a bit sweeter, then finally develops a little hop in the finish. Sort of a maltier version of Bayern Pilsener
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - MAY 25, 2007
Slightly oxidized taste, bready and toasty, stronger on the malts, a departure from the NW ambers. Very smooth in the body, but the oxidized flavor makes it feel thin on the palate. Pours dark copper with a soft beige head.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Braudog (4473) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - MAY 23, 2007
Draft pint shared with my wife at the brewery taproom. Dark golden with a quickly surrendering head. This almost has the aroma of apple cider. It drinks much smoother, mellowly malty with just a mild orchard-like bitter finish. Nice light amber lager. (#2930, 5/19/2007)
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 decaturstevo (3386) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAY 22, 2007
12oz btl thanks to kyzr. An orange amber pour with almost no head. An aroma of some fruitness, malt and wet paper. A slightly sweet start with some bitter finish. I get a hint of appleness in the flavor as well. It even seems to have a bit of warmth. Good carbonation and a decent palate. Overall a surprising beer. Better than expected.

Sampled with stegosaurus. Pours a amber color with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts, corn, and grass. Flavor is malty with a hint of hops and is a bit thin.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 kyzr (1140) - Belgrade, Montana, USA - MAY 12, 2007
Dark gold pour with very little head. Sweet malty aroma, with hints of grain. Flavor is very malty and body is rather light. Finish seems to lack that little punch.
