truegen (131), Puyallup, Washington, USA Mar 22, 2008 12oz. bottle. Very clear light gold in color, with no head to speak of. Aroma is fairly promising with a strong grassy presentation. Mouth feel is a little on the thin side, but the flavor is distinctly European. This is a compact, drinkable, sessionable brew that doesn’t try anything fancy.
Shag (1747), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA May 26, 2008 Not much to say about this one. A copper color with a malty aroma. I detect some vanilla in the flavor with a bready caramel presence. A hint of citrus in it. Slight sugary presence. Ok to sink em but dont think em. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA May 25, 2008 Date: 05/11/2008

DuffMan (1838), Calgary (back from 1yr in AUS), Alberta, Canada May 22, 2008 Bottle. Light amber, brief white head. Sweet caramel aroma. Spritzy, sweet caramel palate with a faint ginger ale quality that I didn’t like. Disappointing. hopdog (4342), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA May 13, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with kyzr (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a smaller sized head. Aromas of caramel and overall buttery. Tastes of caramel, buttery, and toasted malts. CaptainCougar (4596), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 11, 2008 Pours a transparent orange amber with a thin, spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet pale malt with a touch of caramel and light fruits. Starts lightly sugary sweet with a touch of piny bittering hops before a crisp, bittersweet finish. A pretty drinkable, decent amber lager.
