argo0 (6861), Washington DC, USA Jul 27, 2004 (OBF04) Clear amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, melon, some berry, some wheat. Taste is medium sweet, melon, wheat. Light body. Pleasant beer for summertime. hopdog (5534), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 13, 2007 12oz bottle. Poured a medium and clear golden color with almost no head. I’m searching for aromas here, very lightly fruity, bananas, and spices. Tastes of generic fruitiness, light wheat, and light spices. Thin and bordering on watery body. Not offensive, but not really anything there. bu11zeye (5430), Frisco, Texas, USA Oct 5, 2007 (Bottle, BB Nov 07) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grass, flora, and lightly toasted grain. Flavor of honey, floral hops, and caramel with an oily mouthfeel. CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA May 24, 2008 Bottle courtesy of kyzr: Pours a transparent golden with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of mildly sweet pale malts and a touch of light fruits. Body starts with a mild sweetness and some wheaty notes and fruity esters. Finishes smooth and lightly sweet. A decent Kristallweizen. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 20, 2007 @Mountain Beerfest-on tap-pours a retaining foamy white head and yellow color. Aroma is faint light/medium malt-caramel. Taste is light/medium malt-caramel, secondary light floral/spice hops. OK carbonation. Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Jan 6, 2006 Pours gold/copper with a decent head. Smells caramelly with some grassy notes. Taste is of wheat, some yogurt, some citrus. mj (4975), Colorado, USA Aug 15, 2004 OBF 2004. Medium orange color. Smells like butter, diacetyl, with a buttery flavor and texture. Frothy regular pale ale flavors, some chared malts, overly sweet fruit and crackers... nothing great.
