3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a burnt orange-red mahogany color with a one finger head of pure white foam. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading to leave a good level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is heaviest of a slightly burnt wheat bread smell with a strong showing of yeast. There is a little bit of a banana and a bit of a coriander and clove smell as well.
Taste – The taste begins with a caramel and wheat bread taste with a bit of roasted malt mixed within. Some dark fruit flavors are there as well, along with some of the banana that was detected in the nose. Other light coriander flavors come to the taste later in the profile, and with the other flavors, ends up leaving a rather smooth, darkened wheaty flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the slightly thicker and creamier side with a carbonation level that is average. For the wheat and darker flavors of the brew the feel is rather nice and with its carbonation level it makes for a very easy drinker.
Overall – A pretty nice drinker overall with a good blend of wheaty and darker flavors all while keeping a good drinkability.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours dark brown worth white foam. Very nice spice and wheat aroma. Spice notes in the taste worth a clean finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: MAY 24, 2014 It was fine, but I was expecting something a lot bigger. You can't name it Dragon’s Breath and then have the word "mild" in your description. When Daenerys gets some dragons, I expect them to kick some ass. They shouldn't mildly fly around Westeros.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught. Pours a very cloudy dark brown color with a moderate off-white head on it. I get almost no smell off this beer, even though it had a nice head on it. Taste was pretty sweet, and had some graininess to it. Meh.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Deep red color. Slight medicinal flavor and banana as advertised. Pretty hoppy for a hefe. Has a pleasant bitter aftertaste. Nice amount of carbonation. Excellent hefeweizen.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great hazy brown coloured body with a thick, two centimetre tall deep tan head. Aroma of very nice yeast, bananas, malt, coriander seed, bubble gum and even more yeast - nice and fragrant throughout. Medium-bodied; Earthy malt up front with a hint of nutty and earthy wheat with a good yeast strain flavour showing some spicey complexity but the typical german feel - all with a good deeper, nuttier flavour that you’d expect from a dunkles. Aftertaste shows a good level of sweetness, some mild earth and toffee, a hint of banana and a plenty amount of yeast and spicey characteristics. Overall, a nice dunkles with a good profile and a great body. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 25-April-2013 for US$1.76 sampled at home in Washington on 09-September-2013.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 fl oz / 355ml bottle into a Blue Moon glass. Served cold.
Aroma: Mild toasted malt. Not much else going on. Nice, but boring.
Appearance: Hazy dark brown body with a sparse white head.
Taste: Moderate spice package; some cloves, but the toasty malt is present as well. A nice flavor, but it would be better if it were a little more bold, I think.
Palate: Light-medium body. Pretty short, malty finish.
Overall: It is a good beer. It is a nice balance between the malt and the spice. I just wish it were a little more bold.
