Pours a dark brown with almost no head. Sweet malt aromas with a hint of hops. Sweet roast flavor with a little bitterness.

This one has a great fruity nose, with some toasted milquetoast bready notes. It is nicely roasty, sweet and toasty. Finish is very fresh and clean tasting, no bitter aftertaste. Really easy to drink. One of the better beers I have had from this brewery.

Bottle. Smalllish off-white head with a mild yeasty or doughy type aroma. Great full mouthfeel with a light caramel sweetness. This beer is considerably more bitter however than any other Bayern beer Ive ever tasted. Nice grapefruit or citrus notes, good finish.

Bottled, feb. ’06 as a spring seasonal, or more precisely, a march 17th seasonal: Slightly roasty lager, slight cherry and apricot on the nose, whiffs of diacetyl, a little bit in flavor as well, nice bread/bisquit/roast balance, somewhere between a vienna and a munich dunkel, nice and "real" tasting as a fresh product but maybe not a big fave in the future...

Medium beige, quickly dissipating head atop a clear copper body. Aroma is medium sweet, toasty, light caramel. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, toasty, faint grapefruit. Medium body. Very enjoyable beer.

Nice deep copper color with off white head. Aromas of toasted sweet malt. Sweet up front with a hint of toasted grain, nice balance with the hops that are in the background just letting you know that they are there. Very clean finish.
