COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Five types of malt and easy on the hops. A very different beer for a very different celebration. Available St. Patricks Day till it's gone.

Bottle: Amber hued caramel, mild sudsy off-white head, a few splotches of lacing, very light carbonation.   Malty nose, semi-sweet, seems to be caramel malts and perhaps vienna.   Lightly roasted malt on the tongue, slight breadiness, not as sweet as I thought it would be.   Clean, very low hop bitterness, smooth, somewhat dry, with a pleasant sticky malt accentuated exit.   Light, but still enjoyable.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   I only wished it would be a tad sweeter.

A nice amber reddish color. A very light nose to this beer. The head was light also. The flavor was a light irish red type beer. This was a easy drinking beer. Nothing very special the hops where very light also. This was a commercial example of a lawnmower beer that was OK.

Pours a dark brown with almost no head. Sweet malt aromas with a hint of hops. Sweet roast flavor with a little bitterness.

Sent by Hayduke and enjoyed together via facebook chat. This beer pours a mostly clear dark copper, almost red. My glass had a very short lived head but Ron’s warmed bottle poured with more. The nose was complex fruit and nuts. Nice and not at all "lager" like. The flavor was also quite pleasant. That nice complex fruit again, nuts, caramel, and some chocolate. A general sourness was tasted throughout. Maybe it was the name and hence psychological, but this had an authentic "irish" feel to it. Cool. Lagers often don’t deserve the bad name they get and this is an example. Nicely done.

From the bottle pours a clear amber with a soft white head. Light caramel flavor up front, faintly toasty character shows. Has a mild hop bit to the finish leaving it kinda dry. Much lighter on the palate with a light carbonation.

This one has a great fruity nose, with some toasted milquetoast bready notes. It is nicely roasty, sweet and toasty. Finish is very fresh and clean tasting, no bitter aftertaste. Really easy to drink. One of the better beers I have had from this brewery.

Bottle... Poured a reddish/amber with a white head. Toasted malts and grassy aroma. Very earthy, and smooth, toasted, caramel malt flavors. Crisp lager character with low bitterness and very little hop presence. Candy qualities and sweet bready finish.

Rich amber body with an adequate head that covers the top. Dry malty nose, with some stale graininess and hints of smoke. Similar malt characteristics in the body, dry malting and with a stale, roast character. Touches of wet shoe and cardboard finish.
