3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BrewDad (3384) - Olympia, Washington, USA - MAY 9, 2006
[Bottle]
A nice amber reddish color. A very light nose to this beer. The head was light also. The flavor was a light irish red type beer. This was a easy drinking beer. Nothing very special the hops where very light also. This was a commercial example of a lawnmower beer that was OK.

Bottle... Poured a reddish/amber with a white head. Toasted malts and grassy aroma. Very earthy, and smooth, toasted, caramel malt flavors. Crisp lager character with low bitterness and very little hop presence. Candy qualities and sweet bready finish.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BeerBunker (687) - Burbank, Illinois, USA - MAR 30, 2009
12oz bottle thanks to riversideAK. Pours amber with minimal white head that dissipates quickly. Lively carbonation. Aroma is of malt, pine, cheap scotch, grain, and hops. Taste is of sweet hops, pine and notes of cheap scotch. Has a nice biscuity malt backbone. Starts off very bitter due to all the earthiness, but you warm up to it after a few sips. Just a drinkable beer with enough flavor to keep you interested, but nothing more.
3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 spikester (602) - Salem, Oregon, USA - APR 18, 2008
Pours dark red-amber with a minor head and lacing. Aroma is deep and resinous. For a red ale this is well done. Hops are subdued and it’s well balanced. This is what Killians Red wished it was. Another fine craft beer from Montana. Haven’t had a bad one yet. Either it’s the water or they have few distractions!

[Bottle] Pours a really nice clear reddish copper with a small beige head. Aroma is really grainy, some sweet malt, and lager yeast. Flavor matches pretty well with a lingering sweetness on the finish. Nothing special, but not too bad either.

From the bottle pours a clear amber with a soft white head. Light caramel flavor up front, faintly toasty character shows. Has a mild hop bit to the finish leaving it kinda dry. Much lighter on the palate with a light carbonation.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BlackDonald (1127) - Boise, Idaho, USA - AUG 18, 2008
This has a bit of a sweet aroma, some faint toasted caramel maltiness, a bit of citrus hoppiness. Definitely on the maltier side, with a bit of honey sweetness that lingers through into the finish. Not bad, but not great, but easy to drink.
3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 loren01 (4) - USA - JUL 1, 2007 does not count
Pours copper color, good head, no lace. Smell is sweet/caramelly. Nice malty smell. Taste is slightly malty up front with peppery/bitter bite at the end. Also finishes with a good bit of dryness and ETOH. Pretty good beer, reminds me a lot of their amber.
