Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Grassy, grainy body, some light floral notes, and a dry earth finish. Soft with cracker like malts and a drying finish. Eh.

Bottle:   Translucent straw, a little hint of gold, thin sudsy white head, falls quickly, leaving hardly any lacing.   Soft grassy notes, pale malts on the nose.   Quite grassy on the tongue, good dose of sweetness,
clean on the exit.   A little mealy, or cereal like, but not bad.   I don’t say this often, but for a Pils it could stand to be a little less heavy.   Falls off quickly at the finish.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate,
perhaps even a bit heavier than I would prefer.   Lingering cereal/mealy notes on the tongue.   Tiz okay, but wished it were a bit more crisp, less heavy, and not as mealy.

At Bayern: Bright, but pale yellow with a small white head. Nice sheets of lacing. Faint yeast and malt in the nose. Crisp and wheaty with a light floral element. A little earthy in the tail before a lingering floral ending.

Decently smooth, not very distinctive but quite drinkable. A thumbs up from me.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 boFNjackson (2705) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 12, 2009
Bottle... Poured clear, barely golden or yellow with a white head head that dissipated immediately. Cracker malts on the nose. A little hoppy and citrusy, but mostly a dull malt character that dominated. Wasn’t a fan of this pilsener at all. More like a pale lager to me.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 JPDIPSO (4957) - Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 16, 2009
Light golden color with a few white bubbles atop. Sweet grain and malt aromas with hints of herbal hops and a bit of earth in the background. Grainy and fruity flavors that don’t remind me of a crisp, sharp pilsner. Really jones’n for a good pilsner.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 greenhorn1 (570) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - APR 4, 2009
12 oz bottle. Pours golden, small head, lively carbonation. Malt and lemon aroma. Grassy, hints of banana, and a mild spice is present in the flavor. Crisp light finish with some hop bitterness. It’s easy to drink, but nothing to brag about.
