At Bayern: Bright, but pale yellow with a small white head. Nice sheets of lacing. Faint yeast and malt in the nose. Crisp and wheaty with a light floral element. A little earthy in the tail before a lingering floral ending.

12 ounce bottle from a sampler pack. Pours a golden yellow with a thin white head that fades. Taste is of malt, grass and hops. Similar aroma. Has a full body. The finish is slightly dry and bitter. Very easy to drink and quite enjoyable. Well worth having time and time again.

12oz bottle pours crystal clear gold with loose white head. The aroma offers up sugary sweet malts and grainy malts as well as sort of a light floral hoppiness. The taste is similar with a heavy handed sugary sweetness followed by a modest level of grainy malts and floral hops rimmed with a sort of lagery yeast sweetness. OK but could be less sweet.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Dave. Pours a totally clear straw color with a small white head. The aroma is sweet earthy hops and some honey malts. A basic sweet Pils with some overripe apples and light spicy hops. Enjoyable and light.

Draft at the Rhino. Pours a hazy medium gold with a loose little white head that doesn’t stick around. Loose drippy white lace. Cabbage and corn nuts on the nose. Watery fizzy body. Toast, corn nuts, and cabbage on the mid-palate. Wet grass finish. Not at all appealing, unfortunately.

12 oz. bottle from Hayduke. Clear golden with light carbonation visible. A nice one finger white head that left light lacing. A very soft nose. I was able to find some grain and honey. Flavor is not big, either. Some grass is tasted with mildly bitter hops. Grain and citrus was also tasted. Hops tended to grow in prominence as the beer warmed and caramel came even later. Not complicated and it would be a nice "intro to craft beer" kind of beer. Decent flavor and enjoyable to drink.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2011 Poured light gold. White head. Light lacing. Nose of grassy hops. Light body and smooth mouthfeel. Favor is mild, and finishes lightly bitter. Decent but on the mild side.
