Bottle: Dark red / copper / black. Fruity aroma, yeasty notes. Flavor is acidic, bittersweet, cherries, red berries. Not sure what the intended style was. Food Pairing: Cheery Pie.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is dark amber. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, popcorn, malt syrup), with notes of banana, bile, gum, toffee. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Weizen bock?? I guess not the intent here, but there’s a pretty strong banana/gum character. Dirty and popcorny as well. Another drain pour from this brewery.

Bottle 355ml. A dark reddish beer with a frothy head that fades away quickly. Aroma is of rosted malt with a hint of chocolate. Taste is bitter, especially at the end. It has medium carbonation and some spices.

Bottle, 355ml. Pours a clear copper colour with a deep ruby hue and plenty of carbonation that forms a large head that’s quick to fade away. Aroma is of smoked malts, firewood, caramel and maybe a hint of dry fruits and alcohol. Medium body with more smoked character and some slight sourness. Unusual, but pleasant, well-brewed beer.

Bottled at Frankfurt, Polanco, Mexico City. Hazy mahogany colour, minimal head. Caramelly nose. Mid sweet with well sized body and rounded mouthfeel. Fudge and butter, low hop rate. Caramelly finish. Fairly heavy.

mzaar (1750) - Varberg, SWEDEN - MAR 4, 2013
Bottle from Liverpool, Plaza de Americas, Cancun. Dark red and brown beer, minimal head. Aromas of cherry, caramel and nuts. Sour and refreshing taste, where the cherries are very dominant, together with unripe apples and citrus. Quite ok beer.

Very cloudy and little bit sour. NIce shape and thick foam, easy to drink and interesting features too.
