Bottle, 355ml. Clear chesnut with a fizzy brown head that’s gone after a minute. Deep roasted aroma, with hints of sour cherries, mud and dry fruits. Again this nasty sourness present in all their beers. It seems the brewery is aware of this, as they have said themselves: "our beers are brewed with the right amount of acidic character", as opposed to an infection or being past it’s expiration date (I checked, it wasn’t). Undrinkable. Drain pour.

Bottle, 355ml. A mahogany beer with an effervescent head that fades away almost inmediatly. It has a sour and yeasty aroma with canned corn and alcohol. I don´t think is very pleasant. Taste is sour with a lot of carbonation. It wasn´t very pleasant either. I checked the label and it wasn´t expired. Drain pour.

Ernest (6216) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUN 28, 2014
Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is medium to dark brown. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (roasted grain, husks, caramel), with notes of compost, bile, and plastic. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. More foul-smelling/tasting bilge water from Bayernbraeu. Macro quality with a micro image, nothing more.
