A: The beer pours a pale, straw-yellow color with a creamy white head and pretty good clarity. S: Starts off with what seems to be corn. Not what I was expecting, but okay. Straw and grass form the hop contributions and there is a bit of spice, maybe coriander. Decently bready, but not a huge emphasis on the malt, more on the mediocrity. T: There is quite a bit of coriander to the flavor. Unfortunately, there is also quite a bit of: cardboard, corn, and grass. Really weird and sort of like a crappy witbier, more than anything. M: The body is light to medium with a high carbonation and an inexplicably dry finish. D: I wasn’t expecting much from this, being a Bayhawk beer. I’ve got to say, it lived up (or sunk to?) expectations.
