2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap: Nothing special... I like the fact that the chocolate was not in your face, but there wasn’t much complexity to it. Drinkable, but would never seek out

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a deep black color with an espresso aroma. Taste is simple chocolate with a hint of bitterness. Slightly bitter for a porter and thin after the swallow. A decent beer easy drinking that just missed on complex flavor.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a dark brown color and leaves a dark tan head. Has an aroma of chocolate and roasted malt. Taste has notes of chocolate and roasted malt. Their is also notes of hops followed by a bitterness that lingers after the swallow. Overall, it’s an ok beer but I prefer porters to not have a bitterness or a taste of hops.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bomber pours a nice and dark darkness with a dark tan head of foam. The mild aroma is mostly dark roasted malts and a sense of malt balls. The taste is similar where a thin body offers up modest notes of dark roasted malts and then some burnt malts and a light dash of chocolate as it heads into the finish.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
22oz-----> glass vessel - No...no, no! This thing is more off balance than an American teenager. Why am I only tasting spicy hops in a poter???? No damn sense, and it doesn’t work either. Initial aroma is enticing though. Black IPA, maybe, but this is certainly no porter.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bought at Plaza in Tucson. Served at 55 F. A light tan head is one finger and the body is black with visible carbonation raising. The nose is fudge and cocoa. The flavor is not pleasant. Hops mix poorly with chocolate. The result is sour and oddly herbal and is medicinal. Two words for this beer are "No" and "No " again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle like the picture. Deep, dark chocolate body under a quick-dissolving head and sticky, brownish lacing. Aroma oddly like a skunky chocolate powdered cocoa with tea but very appetizingly chocolate. There’s a caramel note in the aroma that carries in the tasting - sweet and salty. There’s also a mustiness in the aroma that opens in tasting. Palate is very smooth and frizzy in the front but flat in the back. Overall this is an interesting beer worthy of a much higher than average rating.
