On draught at Yard House in San Diego. The beer is a clear orange-golden color with a thin off-white head that diminishes quickly, and spotty lacing. Lightly sweet malt and honey in the nose. Light body with bready malt and honey flavors, and just a hint of spice. The finish is sweet and short, with just a touch of malt left over. Slightly below average overall.

From tap at Yards, Pasadena. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small lacing white head. Aroma is mild caramelish. Light breadish and mild caramel flavoured. Light sweetness and caramel lingering finish. Good.

Draft. A dark golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes caramel and honey. The flavor is sweet matly with strong notes of honey as well as lighter notes of straw and spices, leading to a dry honey finish.

Mild sweet honey aroma. A little grain on the nose too. Pours a light yellowish gold. Flavor is sweet malt and grain. Pretty light and refreshing. As it warms a funky sour aroma emerges. I guess you are supposed to pound this one in order to quell the afformentioned aroma.

On tap at King’s Fish House in Long Beach, CA. Called: King Crab Honey Ale Light, with a Hint of Honey. Our Award Winning House Brew from Bayhawk Ales, Irvine, CA. The pour was clear gold with faint copper highlights, a one-finger tall white head and had decent lacing. Sweet malty nose. Slightly bready. The flavor was sugary sweet with a slightly astringint, sort of weak citrusy ending. Easy to drink.
