Can. Pale piss yellow, ugly with no head. Bland cereal aroma but thankfully no chemical assault. Thin body with light carbonation. Sweet with slight sour tang in the finish. Not so bad.

33cl (4.5%) from a supermarked in Siem Reap. Light golden with a small white head that quickly disappears. Uery light and sweet malty aroma just a faint hint of hops. Sweet and pretty tasteless, but goes down easy in the heat. A hardly noticable hint of bitterness in the finish.

Unfortunately I’ve never had a can of this that wasn’t skunky. Most Cambodian peasants stay away, if you’ve got this at your wedding people will laugh at you.

Cerveza pedorra, pero muy refrescante para soportar el calor de camboya. Se recomienda no tomar en grandes cantidades si no quieren sentirse mal.

Unfortunately for such an epic name, comes not such an epic beer. Quite watery, definitely one of the more watered down attempts at beer here in Cambodia. Great name though!

Can@Hotel, said Bayon Pilsener 4.5% ABV. Pretty standard pale lager for South East Asia. However in this one I found some herbal flavours in the finish.

Can. Super boring asian-style lager with typical light gold color, watery, straw-flavored. Boring.

Can (320ml) at Room 3 in Phnom Penh. Very thin and boring. Just like having a glass of sparkling water. Earlier on this journey I had a San Mig Light and that was fantastic compaired to this. Very very very light....... BORING.

Can 25cl. Poured a hazy pale straw yellow. No head and high carbonation. The aroma was an unpleasant sharp citrus, slightly vegetal aroma. The taste was a horrible watery one with a slight acrid citrus hint. This is probably the worst beer I’ve ever had - though to be fair I bought it at a roadside stall in the middle of Cambodian nowhere, so maybe I should have expected so much.

Can. Very pale lager with white head. Doesn’t tastes much but maybe a hint of citrus?
