COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
LA-31 Bière Pâle is crafted with imported Belgian malts and American hops and yeast. This is a distinct new style of beer - no one else in the country makes anything like it. LA-31 Bière Pâle is traditionally brewed ale; it is bronze colored and has a biscuity malt center. The beer has herbal hop flavors and a gentle, mellow bitterness. This full flavored beer is crafted to enhance the unique cuisine and lifestyle of South Louisiana.

Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent with a thick, creamy white head. It’s an attractive beer. Some dusty, pale malts in the aroma, hints of pine. Light to medium sweet flavor with sugary malts, some caramel, mellow grassy and herbal bitterness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, some light pine resins, bready malts that are a bit drier than before, some further grass and herbs. Pretty clean aftertaste, with just a hint of metallic twang. It’s a decent beer overall. Easy to drink.

Pours a slight hazy golden brown on tap with pillowy white head and good lacing. Aroma starts with hints of sweet caramel, goes biscuity, then ends kind of grassy. Taste is mostly the malt, bready but slightly bitter. Easy to drink and definitely a session beer.

Bottle from UDbeernut. Many thanks for the box dude! full founded body hits with sweet malts and gen-teel hops with a light hop addition to the entire package for a light southern twang. Biscuity but not a mess o biscuits buscuity if you know what I mean. It was certainly a nice starter for the basement work session yesterday. If I could buy it by the case, I would as it is session-able and still stands alone with the malt foundation. So Yeah buddy for the Delta South!

Bottle from Ldhughes3 many thanks. Pours amber with a small off white head, little retention. Nose of flowery hops. Taste has a biscuit base layer, with solid bitterness, and flowers in the finish. Body is light, if not thin.

Golden brown, off-white head. Aroma has some vaguely fruity hops and a light vegetal quality. Light citrus flavors, mild bitterness and some caramel malts.

Pours a light amber color with a slight orange hue. Aroma is floral with a hoppy nose. Taste is a little bitter but has a doughy aftertaste left on the tongue after the swallow. Overall a decent American pale ale that I was glad to try in New Orleans.

Drank from snifter poured from 12 oz glass. Good hop profile. Almost seems like an ipa, but very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Seaside, Fl - Modica Market - 12 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, light but sticky off-white head, a bit of lacing. Aroma has a slight funk, some toffee sweetness. Flavor has a trace of caramel, some home-brewed crystal malt, a bit of toffee but an odd aftertaste leaves a bad taste in my mouth which dampens my enthusiasm for it.
