(12oz bottle, courtesy of AmEricanbrew) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, marshmallow (odd), florals, and grass. Flavor of caramel malt, pine, grass, and biscuit.

On tap. Amber with a slight haze and loose head. Lightly herbal aroma and mellow caramel notes. Earthy but a little bit of phenol as well. Might be a little bit old.

Bottle from ericandersnavy. Pours pale amber with a quickly disappearing beige head. Aroma is sort of aged bread with some sugary malt and floral hop. Or maybe more complicated than that. There’s a lot of malt and a lot of floral and maybe citrus hop. Actually goes a bit astringent, yet it makes me think of a light barley wine. Confusingly complicated.

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a medium, fizzy white head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is fruity esters, pine and citrus hops with biscuit malt. Flavor is malt forward with medium hops and bitterness, fruity esters and a dry finish. Medium to light body, medium carbonation.

Bottle thanks to americanbrew. Pour with a small white head and a clear golden body. Aroma of grain, grass, apple and straw. Taste is bitter and really grassy. Bland. Fizzy.

Bottle courtesy of ken1. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 180513

Bottle at home in Salisbury. Pours clear gold, lightly effervescent with a thick, creamy white head. It’s an attractive beer. Some dusty, pale malts in the aroma, hints of pine. Light to medium sweet flavor with sugary malts, some caramel, mellow grassy and herbal bitterness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, some light pine resins, bready malts that are a bit drier than before, some further grass and herbs. Pretty clean aftertaste, with just a hint of metallic twang. It’s a decent beer overall. Easy to drink.

bottle. mild dried grass / lime citrus hop character with mild resin, somewhat balanced by the toasty / crunchy cracker malt. mildly fizzy carbonation, mild froth across the middle, prickly citrus acid late with apple and pear esters.

Pours gold and cloudy with a white head. Smells of grass, hay, some floral hints. Tastes dry and floral with some grassy elements on the finish.
