Bottle from UDbeernut. Many thanks for the box dude! full founded body hits with sweet malts and gen-teel hops with a light hop addition to the entire package for a light southern twang. Biscuity but not a mess o biscuits buscuity if you know what I mean. It was certainly a nice starter for the basement work session yesterday. If I could buy it by the case, I would as it is session-able and still stands alone with the malt foundation. So Yeah buddy for the Delta South!

On tap in Brookhaven GA.
Flavor Near equal malt/hop balance. Rather malty for style although the hops come out in the finish and aftertaste.
O. More like a brown ale than an APA. Well crafted if unexceptional.

When I get pale beers from Louisiana, I’m expecting a thirst-quenching beer that doesn’t inspire. But it’s hot in Louisiana, and you sort of need that. This beer takes the hop bite up just a bit. It’s not anything that’s going to blow you away, but it doesn’t shy away from being different, and I appreciate that.

Bottle at an oyster bar in New Orleans. Grass and grapefruit taste with surprisingly little bitterness. Not great but did a fine job of washing down a couple dozen plump oysters.

On tap at Maple Leaf Bar in New Orleans. Poured a hazy golden yellow, foamy head. Taste was light and flowery, maybe a little bit of grass or straw in it. Very smooth, goes down easy. Nice beer, I was pleasantly surprised by this one.

Pours a clear classic golden with a short, quickly dissipating off white head. Nearly no nose at all. Mouthfeel is wet and crisp. Flavor is bland, even for a pale ale.

I had it on tap at Avenue Pub in New Orleans. Pours a rich copper hue with a nice head. It has a wet basement aroma and a pedestrian hop taste.
