Pours clear light straw yellow with a medium fizzy white top. Aroma is light grains and cereal. Taste is somewhat crisp, cereal malts although not as flavourful or floral as some other Helles.

Wombata (468) - Kobe, JAPAN - AUG 6, 2014
Tap at Bottleworks, Seattle. Aroma: floral, slightly earthy, pear, grain, yeast Palate: Long, undying finish. Medium-bodied that provides a full, round mouth feel. Flavor: floral, softly bitter grain, clover honey and pear flavored malt, light earthy bitterness. Finishes with subtle floral, fruit, and grain. Comment: First Helles I’ve had that was in good, fresh condition. Delicate with gentle bittering and subtle complexity. Very fine.

White head on a pale strawish yellow clear body. Long curtains inside my mug. Aroma; pale sweet malts, hops, grains, glue, grass. Taste; hops, grains, bread, hints of marzipan, and very clean and fresh on palate. Finishes with sweet bread, hops, grains, faint berries, lingering with hints of flatbread. Quite alright overall.
