UPDATED: SEP 15, 2013 On tap; pours a very dark brown with nice coffee head. Aroma somewhat sweet. Taste was of cocoa, very light bodied compared to other german dunkels but very easy drinking and I would definitely buy again

500 ml bottle via Christine. Deep brown with a fair ashen head. Fairly minimal aroma, light sulphur, faintly roasted, surprisingly fruity and expressive in flavor, quite malty, minimal hop character, off-dry, minimal bitterness, fruity, lightly roasty. Not nearly as clean as expected.
