Tan body, a touch of haze, ok head. Crisp nose with easy malting. Similarly, the body is crisp with an easy graininess and nice malting. While balanced, the hops are subtle, if not imperceptible.

0.5 bottle. Dark gold,big soft head.Faint aroma yeast an hops. malty, pasty,sweet,floral taste.

Tasted on February 28th. 500 ml bottle. Nice white head. Sweet and light flavour. Enjoyable but nothing exceptional.

Brown with a small head. Sweet with a sharp acidic undertone. Not sure I would bother with the stopper bottle top for this type of a brew.

Semi hazy brown body, white head. Aroma has sweet malt, fruits, butter and nuts. Flavour has buttery bread, fruity yeasty malt, some berries. Smooth and oily palate.

UPDATED: FEB 14, 2013 Aroma lievemente maltato, colore ambrato e schiuma bianca di 5 cm non troppo persistente. Corpo lieve, leggera carbonazione , ben maltata , poco amara, e appena dolce all’inizio con finale secco. Clear dark amber colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, malts, quite fruity, light coffee, fudge, toasted bread and hay. Sweet malty flavour, caramel, very light bitter. Reasonably full body. Finish caramel, bit more bitterness.
Well balanced and enjoyable.

Dry, medium body and bitterness, creamy CO2.
Malty, spicy taste, light phenolic notes from the yeast, citrus, hops. Quite good. (2009-08-18)

Hell kastanienfarben mit feinporigem Schaum; nur minimal trüb. Schön hefig-fruchtiges Aroma; ich rieche eine delikate Apfelnote. Der Antrunk ist butterweich und sanft. Geschmacklich ist das Zwickl zuerst fruchtig-hefig und wird dann zunehmend würziger. Das Malz gewinnt die Oberhand; der Hopfen spielt im Abgang die zweite Geige. Absolut gelungenes Zwickl in einer schönen Bügelflasche mit Retro-Design-Label. Bayreuth ist also nicht nur was für Tristan & Isolde.
