COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: The Aktien Zwickl Beer is a German Specialty Beer from the Bayreuther Bierbrauerei. The German Tradition of drinking beer from the lager tanks right away, is called in language of the brewer, the term ’Zwick’l’. The beer is brewer according to the german beer law, the Rheinheitgebod from 1516. Unfiltered and full of taste, this lagered brown is really a German specialty. Its foam in combination with brown roasted malts is rather light and you will certainly order a second one. Deutsch: Das Aktien Zwickl Kellerbier ist ein unfiltrierter dunkeler Deutscher Specialität. On tap @ Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Deep clear golden body, large white head. Nose is pale malts, sweet cereals, maize and hints of nuts, straw and grass. Taste is grains, pale malts, sweet cereals and hints of straw, nuts and grass. Light body, medium to high carbonation. Pretty straight-forward German kellerbier, drinkable and fresh enough but a bit boring.

Gift swing top bottle in a kit with a matching open top (non-lid) porcelain stein. Pours with a moderate half finger head that dissipates quickly. Hint flavor sod plum and lemon. Nice beer but the best part is the label styling and very cool stein. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a finger of head on a dark straw body. The aroma is bold caramel malt and ripe plum. Nice. The taste has caramel throughout, a little lemon bitterness, more dark fruits. The texture is lighter with nice carbonation. It’s fairly flavorful for the style and good.

Orange-brown and unfiltered. Strong yeast aromas, a bit sour. A good amount of grassy hops with the malt aromas staying in the background. A touch of honey and a mix of other flavours. Medium to full body. Not bad!

Bottle from supermarket, Pfalz/Germany. Pours copper colour with thin head. Not too fizzy. Faint aroma of burnt orange. Malty, sour orange taste. Nice full palate feel, with some grapefruit-hoppy taste coming through at end. Pretty decent.

It pours a cloudy light brown with tinges of orange. It has a rich, sweet malt aroma that has a bready smell to it. There are also aromas of grass and hints of floral. It has tastes of grassy hops, with slight floral and some fruity esters. It has a light feel on the heavy side towards moderate. It is a smooth drinking beer with no bitterness and a sweet finish.

Not bad at all. Copper coloured, not quite clear, thin white head. Aroma has grass, honey and bready malt. Similar flavour. Decent body and carbonation.
