Bottle@home Apperance: Golden color with a creamy, white, head and lots of lacing. Aroma: Caramel, Wild strawberries, Hint of metal, Hint of malt. Taste: Caramel, Malt, German hops, Berries. Palate: Easy to drink with medium carbontation and small bubbles. Refreshing. An average kellerbier. Not very good. Not bad at all.

Appearance: Muddy golden to oily nut brown in color. Tiny, creamy head on the top.
Aroma: Pure earthy notes with somewhat sour yeasty background. Bready, biscuity malt profile.
Flavor: Crisp, biscuity malts slightly overwhelmed by the yeast sourness. Yeasty mid-palate leads to a slightly sweet, oily-nutty malt character. A very faint, grassy hop character lingers in the back.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Rather light than medium bodied. Easy, softly carbonated texture.
Overall: A classic cellar-lager. Not impressed me too much, but not bad at all.

I found this better than the dunkel. Pop top bottle that nearly rocketed off into space. Purchase in Hombruch @ the Rewe. Pours golden, pale colour with a bit of thickness in the color. White fluffy head. Nose is floral, subtle grains, and a bit of a whiskey hint. Taste is decent and easy. Some spices, bread notes, grains, and a bit of an awkward malt taste. I think what hurts this brew is creativity and the palate is just thrown together with a disregard for harmony. Get this fixed and it would be a decent session.

rand (1220) - SWITZERLAND - APR 1, 2010
Bottle 50 cl from Mahrun in Darmstadt (D). Brown-orange-gold with an off-white head. Aroma of fruity malt, toffy, of smoked. In the mouth, one finds hop, malt and yeast. Also touches of orange, tropical fruits, walnut and hay. Final more toasted and lies a hint of acidity and dryness to end harmoniously.

An unpleasant aroma of tinned dog food lept from this one. In the mouth it felt rich but was remarkably unflavoursome.

Bottle from Utobeer. Hazy orange with a medium head. Good bready aroma, followed by slightly spicy bread flavours. Well-balanced. Well-made and enjoyable, though less emphasis on hops.

Bottle. Deep hazy golden, golden cream. Fresh grassy and minerally nose. Medium to light body, mellow mouthfeel. Fruity start, ok balance, a bit watery.

0,5 l bottle, bought at Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest.
Deep golden, near amber, hazy bodied beer with a small but delicious and stable white foamy head. Aroma of bready malts, fine sourish and lively yeast, honey and caramel, some flowery hop. Perfume of an earthy cellar... Typical zwickl character with the lively yeast flavor, a harsh but pleasant spicey hop taste, the well rounded malt based mouthfeel with honey, mild caramel. It comes from the cellar right now! Nice.

Szeretem ezeket a régi módis,házias söröket!
