COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Clear orange color, almost no head. Don’t smell much, little like pilsener, little musty. Average taste, low body, low to medium carbo.

Test vom 22.6.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,11,12,7,12,12 - 10,70

Bottle with Nick. Pours cloudy, light brown with a soft head. Bready, biscuity aroma, slight earth. Pretty sweet, bits of toast, some grass and earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Bready finish, toast, light cereal and earth. Very nice.

Swing top bottle 50cl. Amber coloured, yeasty brew with amazing white head. Nice lacing! Typical franconian malty and grainy taste, perfect balance between malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness! Quaffable! Great stuff!

Swingtop bottle. Pours clear amber with a medium white head. The aroma is light toasted malt and faint fruit. Light earthy hops. The flavour is mainly malty and caramelish with some fruity notes. Bit thin.

Hopfig im Geruch. Malziger Start mit etwas Herbe im Hintergrund. Anschließend hopfig-aromatisch und vollmundig mit zurückhaltenden Röstnoten. Gut gelungen.

Huge white large creamy head and a clear light amber body. Aroma of caramel, fresh hops. Bitter finish. Sticky and creamy texture and a good balanced taste medium bitter and sweet.

On tap at Gourmet Haus Staudt. Hazy golden in color with a small whitish head. Grainy and pale malt aroma with grassy hops. Nice big flavor, pale malt and maybe slight caramel with grassy and floral hop bitterness. Medium-light bodied and crisp on the mouthfeel. Solid if not too exciting.

Half litre flip top, brown colour, fairly clear, poor head retention. Corky smell, hints of lemon. Tastes of barley sugar, hints of citrus. Normal mouthfull. You shouldn’t drink too many kellerbiers because of the way they are brewed but this one is nice.
