Im Geschmack ist es ziemlich mild, leicht hopfig, malzig. Im Nachgeschmack leicht hopfig-malzig, und herber werdend dazu süßlich. Der Nachgeschmack ist das beste an diesem leckeren Kellerbier! 50cl fliptop, most interesting choice at local REWE. - pours less cloudy than other regional Keller/Zwickls, virtually aromaless apart from sweaty pregnant grains. This is one low profile and purposely average Zwickl, typically containing both hops and hop extract (minus points), too watery for a Zwickl but with no off flavours either, that remains drinkable as long as you have a plate of something hearty to go with it.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a big creamy head. Surprisingly clear for a Zwickl. Aroma of raisins and dried apricots. Starts sour with roasted notes and a bit of caramel. A bit of dry hops in the finish. Low carbonation. Too sour for my liking but surely above average

Sample pour at Blind Murphy’s. Orange color, with a small, beige head, and good lacing. Aromas of apples, lemons, sourdough bread, and oats. Very sweet, with some bitter and tart citrus. Medium body, astringent, and pretty slick. Overall, this is a nice, crisp beer. Very citrusy and bready.

Aroma: lightly hoppy.
Appearance: average, rocky, white, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Hazy, dark-yellow body.
Taste: lightly acidic initial flavor and finish with short duration.
Palate: light body, watery texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: great taste and easy to drink.
