500ml bottle. Shared by Tranquillity - thanks!
Pale cloudy yellow, healthy head. Orange, coriander, banana - as one would have expected - all quite soft in the aroma. Sweet and spicy body, some grassy hops too, but a little thin. Very refreshing and leaves a pleasant light malt and lemony finish.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, mid-sized white fluffy head, slowly collapsing; sweet wheaty-bready-dusty nose with bananas and cinnamon in the second row; medium bodied, soft MF, moderate to full sweet flavour; sweet wheaty-sourish finish. Not bad, a bit unusual, quite malt-accented..........

MoritzF (8464) - Bochum, GERMANY - MAR 22, 2008
(bottle) Cloudy, orange colour with a massive and slowly lacing, slightly tanned foamy head. Yeasty, moderately sweet and slightly sourish citrus-fruity wheaty aroma with just a tinge of banana and clovy spice. Sweet and minimal acidic flavour, light to medium bodied, quite soft on carbon for a Hefeweizen. Slightly yeasty and citrus fruity taste with a moderate wheat-character; light-sweet and sourish fruity finish with a light yeasty, phenolic spice. Easy going Hefeweizen (22.03.08).

Bottle, 5.0%. Good banana aroma, slightly citric. Fat ripe banana flavour with a slightly rough bitterness and hint of plastic. But still quite good.

Bottle, bought @ Ripen, Harrislee. Pours a very hazy orange-yellow - rather pale. A fine, smallish, but very creamy white head on top - lots of bubbles reaching up towards it. Aroma is heavy with lots of malts, banana, pineapple and light spices. Rather light body. Flavour is mildly sweet with a great sweet fruitiness with a very apparent banana note. Lots of grassy hops in the finish as well as a very nice, and very powerful ginger-ish spiciness. Not an exceptional Hefe, but still without any flaws, except in the light body.
