Fat in the mouth with plenty of orange. Thge smooth texture carries waves of spiciness airily over the tongue. An awesome Hefe, truly.

Tasted at Gite d’etape de St Didier en Devoluy (France). Good Weizenbier pale,

hazy amber with a fine head. nice aroma of banana, orange, citrus and clove. well balanced taste with nice, lively carbonization.

50cl bottle. Cloudy yellow appearance, not too big creamy head. Aroma is refreshing, fruity with notes of banana, orange and cloves. And wheat of course. Slightly sweet flavor, with wheat/grain and some spiciness. Finishes with some spiciness and mild hops. Hefeweizen as it’s supposed to be.

(bottle) pours a murky golden-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of floral hops and heavy banana, wheat, peaches and strawberries, caramel, mellow spice and a hint of cheesecake. flavour is mostly caramel and popcorny wheat, with hints of white grape juice, herbs and again cheesecake. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

500 ml bottle picked up in Germany. Pours a orange color with a short lasting white head. Aroma is very nice. Fine bananas, spices and slight citrus. Taste is very good as well same as the aroma. Palate is a little weak, creamy and soft, but very nice as well. A good solid Weisse.

Hefiger alleinstehender Antrunk. Im Mittelteil wird das Bier etwas hopfiger, der hefige Grundton bleibt. Es wird sogar noch hefiger, gleichzeitig bröckelt der Unterton etwas und gibt ein wässriges Aroma frei. Hefiger, leicht bittere Nachgeschmack. Gutes Weizen ohne große Fehler. Bottle by 23.05.12. Heavy yeast and even heavier wheat in the nose, medium esters. Cloudy orange body with a beautiful, creamy white head that rocks (and laces) my world. Taste is starkly dry with a wheat and yeast approach, both of which remain in the long, damp aftertaste. A little bit of orange but otherwise no big esterification, does have medium carbonation (velvety-smooth and not really super crisp) in a medium body. Simple, very well-made surprise.

Geruch hefig-säuerlich. Im Antrunk zunächst ebenfalls säuerlich erscheinend und prickelnd. Danach wird das Bier hefiger, nelkig, ja bisweilen sogar scharf mit einiger Herbe. Zum Ausklang wird das Geschmacksbild versöhnlicher und milder. Die Aromenspitzen fallen weg und ein wenig Malz bildet den Abschluß. Aromatisch gut.
