3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Bottleworks, Seattle.
Aroma: floral, slightly earthy, pear, grain, yeast
Palate: Long, undying finish. Medium-bodied that provides a full, round mouth feel.
Flavor: floral, softly bitter grain, clover honey and pear flavored malt, light earthy bitterness. Finishes with subtle floral, fruit, and grain.
Comment: First Helles I’ve had that was in good, fresh condition. Delicate with gentle bittering and subtle complexity. Very fine.
