Cask handpump at The Queen’s Head, Chelmsford. Amber colour beer with a small white head, minimal carbonation. Some malt and caramel evident and a hint of honey. Quite smooth. Enjoyed this one.

Slightly metallic but well balanced mix of malts and hops. Medium bodied. Clean finish. Leaves a taste of honey and summer meadows.

Cask handpull, The Crown, Nuneaton, 17/11/12...The Boro having just dismantled Stockport County. Lightly fogged gold with intricate lace. Good juicy apricot and herb aroma. Decent apricot, grass, herb, slight earth and orange notes. Dull but pretty sweet under the circumstances.

Clear medium amber yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, malty, borring ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110802]
