On tap @ the Tankerville Arms, Longden, Shropshire. Pours a cloudy dark-honey colour with some head. The nose has gente malt and a wild honey sweetness. The taste has honey, sultanas, then apples. The palate is medium to large in structure, rich in texture and there is a sweet though elegant finish. Overall, I like this, it works!

Sweet malty everything - all the way from the aroma to the finish. Dull, but very grainy, lots of malt and bread in the finish.

Bottle at a seafood restaurant in Torquay. Pours clear golden with a big white head. Aroma is malty and some solid hops. Taste is fresh and crisp hops, enough of them to stand out from the british ¨middle of the road¨ beers, oranges and lemons shines through a good malty body. Lovely beer.

On cask at The Green Ginger, Torquay. An average dry bitter which seemed a bit of a challenge to drink!

A Mes rate. Bottle from some random offy in Devon thanks to our Weasel.
Darkish gold with a thin off white head. Fairly bitter citric hoppage with a faint fruity hint and some caramel malt in the background. Some slight wet cardboard lets it down a little but drinkable enough overall.
