Bottle from Sainsbury’s in Bude, Cornwall. A golden/amber coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Malty, caramel aroma. Tastes malty, slight caramel, thin and bland.

Cask conditioned at The Turf Tavern, Oxford. Gold with white head. This was a dull, sweetish, grainy, malty beer, flat and a little flacid unfortunately. Not great.

Cask handpump at The Queen’s Head, Chelmsford. Amber colour beer with a small white head, minimal carbonation. Some malt and caramel evident and a hint of honey. Quite smooth. Enjoyed this one.
