Pour at the Ontario Brewing Awards. Pale golden pour. The aroma is of pale malt. A bit of fusel aroma and some dirty malt liquor character. Seems fermented a bit too warm and not lagered appropriately.

tap/brewery. Poured clear, medium amber, lasting white head. Aroma of grainy malt. Light-medium body, average carbonation, has a tart sourish almost home brewy finish. Honey sweetness, malty with floral hops. Iíd say it was an ale if I didnít know better.

437 mL can. Pale straw with a white head of foam. Grainy malt with some light floral/citrus hops. Crisp, dry, light bodied and moderately carbonated. Simple and refreshing, but doesnít come off cheap tasting. A different approach on pale lager.

Very hoppy foamy head. Strong hoppy grassy scent. They called this their flagship. Itís very mellow. Easy to drink. Low carbonation than the head would indicate. Slight bitterness in the finish. Good but itís yet another lager.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2014 Fresh from growler (from todayís keg). Pours a deep gold yellow with no head. Slight bubbly action in glass despite this - a faint meniscus lacing. No aroma. Taste is initially honeydew sweet!! Nice light body. Watery palate - not enough carbonation. Almost dead flat. I buy this by the growler - itís a good house beer. Goes down easy and is awesome on a hot day!
