From tap @BeerFest in Israel, hazy yellow with a huge head, classic hefeweizen, nice acidity, some banana some lemon, herby flavor quite crispy with nice bitter citrus finish, medium body. Nice one
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Palme (1437) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 1, 2012
0.33l bottle shared @ Israeli tasting evening event. Yeah, this one pours a light cloudy to chalky-ashy body (that being said, I got all the goodies all the way down in the bottom of the bottle). Thin bubbly head. Aroma is wheaty with a light acidic touch and some banana. Soft to average carbonated and it has a oily to watery texture. Wheaty flavors absolutely, somewhat mouth drying before it ends with a hint of yeast. Nice enough for a wheat, and the first Israeli beer I’ve ever tasted! 11.02.2012
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 ClubGonzo (1950) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 13, 2012
Bottle @ skype tasting Israel-Norway 11.02.2012. Pours a light yellow body with a small white head. Aroma is banana, sweet wheaty tones and hints of grain. Taste is hay, pepper, sweet grainy tones of wheat and hints of citrus. Body is thin and dry. A rather uncomplicated wheat beer, which is quite nice.
2.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 kerenmk (411) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - DEC 15, 2011
bottle at the brewery. bubbly, small head and not very cloudy. typical scents of bubblegum, pear, yeast and banana. bland mouth - very aenemic and indescribable. long, stingy and not quite enjoyable finish. something was wrong with the bottle. shit happens but you wouldn’t expect this shit to happen in the brewhouse.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 ThreeCats (111) - ISRAEL - NOV 13, 2011
Straw orange with a large foamy head, banana and a hint of sourness in the aroma. Tastes banana and bubblegum with almost no palate.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Oakes (10184) - Gibsons, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 7, 2011
At the brewpub. Cloudy tan. Fresh malty aroma. Light esters. A little bit funky, though, muddled wheat and yeast character.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Koelschtrinker (7034) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - JUN 21, 2011
Test vom 3.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,10,10,10,11,10 - 10,05

Draft @ brewpub. Milky yellow. Thick looking. Stable head. Smells earthy and funky. Tastes lemony. Has a strange mouthfeel, like it evaporates quickly. Strange yeast character. Lots of wheat malt. Drinkable enough but odd.

Bottle from 4-pack, thanks to Michael Rosenow’s visits to Israeli and Palestinian brew sites! Cloudy with a puffy head. A bit of lemon sourness to it. Taste shows a little horseblanket that I thought meant it was made with a Belgian yeast. I did not think it was a hefe. But Michael and I agreed it had more life to it than an American wheat ale. Wow, I’m the first American RB’er to get a bottle of this!

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Ungstrup (23918) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 9, 2009
Botled. An unclear light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt, wheat, and banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, wheat, and banana - the sweetness seems a bit artificial. The finish is dry and wheaty and a citrus note linger. The body is light.
