A Mes rate: Cask at the New Oxford, Manchester.
Dark mahogany brown with a thin beige film. Bready aroma with lots of chocolate malt and backed up well by notes of coffee, earth and rubber. Typical Bazens flavour, big fruit and rubbery malt with a dry, almost chalky finish offset by a really pleasing sweetness. Another quality beer from Bazens.
