Well-balanced, distinctive and refreshing blonde beer. Full hop character exhibiting pronounced citrus/floral notes. Moderately bittered, this beer is best served on the cool side. Cask @ GBBF 2005: Yellow coloured. Hazy. Fluffy white head. Crisp and hoppy beer. Is quite fresh and herbal. Has some nice sweet notes to balance the hoppyness. Is a bit thin and weak in the end. Ends on a light bitter note.

Cask Conditioned, Turf Tavern, Oxford. Pale gold colour, thin head. Tastes highly carbonated, good conditioning, a little single tracked on the bitter zesty front, not very full.

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Very light colour, almost clear and certainly transparent. This is the most pale ale I’ve ever seen. Fine, thin, white lacy head. Light aroma. The flavour starts with a fruity zing on the tip of the tongue. Not much in the middle. Finial there is a late bitter stopper to mark the end of the beer. Certainly one of the many new light summer ales. Very easy drinking, drinks more like it’s about 3.2%, it’s so light.
