Cask; Special - Summer 2009.
The summer special is Julius (because of the fact that the month of July was named in honour of Julius Caesar, or Andrew Flintoff as we know him today). This pale ale is 4.0%, light amber in colour with a citrusy spicy hop character.

Cask @ Market Porter, Southwark, London SE1. Pours a pale yellow color with a small whitehead. Has a fruity citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a sweetish malty citrus hoppy finish.

(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 8 Aug 2009) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, apricots, biscuity malt and dusty hops. Malty, slightly fruity taste with biscuits, hints of tropical fruit and apricots. Dusty hops in a finish with moderate bitterness. Rather thin body, but not overly sweet. Refreshing, but not very exciting.
