Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
Astonishingly complex light-amber beer with premium ale characteristics. Well-bodied, initial maltiness leads to full fruit hop character and ultimate dry finish. Brewed to the original Bridgewater Ales’ Navigator recipe. (CAMRA National Beer of the Year 2000.)

Cask, Kings Arms, Salford. Lightish golden colour with a thin white head. Fairly insipid aroma with vague maltiness and citrus lurking. Flavour has somet hop character, but doesn’t really shine. Dry bitter finish. All in all, pretty unremarkable, if drinkable, fayre.
