Jul 5, 2009 A Mes rate. Cask handpull at the Market Porter.
Clean golden brown with a thin white head and good condition. A very solid English bitter with some awesome peaty malt and a lovely dusty bitterness. Backed up with some excellent floral notes. Dry bitter finish with some late earthy hints. Loads of body, unusual and interesting. Good stuff.

Apr 9, 2009 Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Loads of whisky malt, smokey grainy character, iodine bitterness, quite as bit of carbonation. Reminds me of cheap whisky with soda, totally not my scene.
