Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 2, 2005 Bottle. Red brown colour with a small off-white head. Light roasted light sweet fruity aroma and taste. Light body and a sweet dry finish. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Aug 9, 2005 Tap in Plzen. A sweet lightly sticky sweet dunkel. Mollasses, bready malt, some touches of caramel. Lightly toasty. Sweet, flat mouthfeel. Not the best Czeck dunkel, but hey it was pretty drinkable, nice 80’s style pub aswell. ThomasE (5075), Copenhagen, Denmark Apr 5, 2005 Reddish brown colour with an off white head. Malty sweet nose with hints of fruit. Flavor has some artificial sweetness with hints of dark fruit and caramel. faroeviking (4565), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Jul 4, 2007 Bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a rather short lasting off-white head leaving a poor lacing. Mild roasty and caramellic aroma. The flavour has a a sweet mild roasted maltiness, slightly chocolateish with some coffee and bitter hops. Quite sweet bitter finish. Good but still its a bit too sweet. madsberg (4376), Bangalore, India Mar 28, 2005 Bottled: Amber coloured. Clear. Off white head. Very buttery and sweet aroma. Flavour of caramel and a very distinct sweetness. Is quite thin bodied and watery in the end. Totally lacks bitterness. A very boring dunkel, that way too sweet for my likings.
