roner77 (35), Portland, Oregon, USA Apr 1, 2006 I thought this pils was above average and better than most. A nice medium golden body with a small white head. Not over carbonated like so many lagers and pils. A nice grassy aroma with a smooth sweet/malt flavor. Not a great beer but good for sessions with friends.
swooper (149), Kladno, Czech Republic Nov 27, 2008 nice cereal aroma, rocky frothy, golden, clear, Medium bitterness, light sweetness, good lager prom Budweiss beerguy101 (3542), Newark, California, USA Nov 27, 2008 Sampled on 11/24/2008. This Pilsner pours a yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is grainy and bready, kind of sweet. A medium to light bodied pilsner. The malts are grainy and bready, kind of sweet. The hops are kind of spicy and earthy. Soft carbonation. Its a touch watery and a little weak tasting. No skunk. Is this yet another Budweiser clone, or an original before AB? A little sweet with not much flavor. It does have more drinkability than the AB/InBev Product. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
