2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 Oz. Bottle. Clear pale yellow white foamy head... Nice try... Aroma is mostly yeast but you do find some malts in there too. Taste is consistent with kinda sweet and little bitterness towards the end...

330ml in Bogota at the airport, so sample should not be stale. Poured two bottles to confirm impression. Pours light, bright yellow, slightly cloudy with little or no head. Nose is like sweet wort before hops and fermentation. taste is unremarkable due to blending of flavors with no theme or structure. I like other BBC brands, so this may be an outlier due to handling or storage, will try again on my next trip to BOG.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
330 ml bottle, thanks Timo A. Pours a clear pale yellow colour with a whitr head. Aroma of white bread, salt, sweat and corn. Flavour of grainy malts, white bread, butter, some salt and off-flavours. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. Finishes salty, dry, grainy and weird. Not good.

1.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
33 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 31.12.2013
Aroma is stale and very unpleasant. Like a unclean bathroom with dirty laundry. Flavour has sticky honey, some distant herbal notes and mint. Quite nothing to do with Golden Ale, except for the colour.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
33 cl bottle @ Timo A.
Pours clear pale golden color with a small head. Aroma of sweet fruits, honey, wet socks and hay. Flavor of lemon, faint honey, hay and toffee. Quite repulsive aroma, and the taste is quite bland also. Crap.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear, pale yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has light honey and cardboard. It has a light, somewhat crisp body with lively carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet, but mostly boring with a dry finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light yellow body with a thin white head. Honey is very light, making it just a bit sweet, and so not overwhelming taste.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Done well enough for style. Like a lightly honeyed golden ale with a nice, crisp barley leave. Pours pale blond with good lacing and ok head. Finishes crisp and clean with tough of honey sweetness. Average carbonation, fizzy texture. Bottle from a restaurant in Medellin.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted on 5/15/11 from a 330mL bottle sent to me as an extra in a trade. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head that slowly recedes to a thin collar of lace. The nose is bread and hay malt with a bit of honey sweetness. The flavor is very similar. There are some nice bread and hay malty notes up front, moving to the sweeter honey and just a bit of light bitterness on the back. The body is light with lively carbonation and a medium honey and bread malt finish.
