3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 wedgie9 (1441) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 15, 2011
Tasted on 5/15/11 from a 330mL bottle sent to me as an extra in a trade. Pours hazy yellow with a thick white head that slowly recedes to a thin collar of lace. The nose is bread and hay malt with a bit of honey sweetness. The flavor is very similar. There are some nice bread and hay malty notes up front, moving to the sweeter honey and just a bit of light bitterness on the back. The body is light with lively carbonation and a medium honey and bread malt finish.

This was pretty nice. Not very daring, yet really, I enjoyed the lightness. It had a thin amount of honey in the flavor, but was fairly strong in the aroma. Certainly a honey beer I enjoyed more than most.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Lubiere (6979) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 27, 2007
A pale golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, honeyand perfumey malt, very restrained. In mouth, a sweetish honey taste, a bit cloying, with a medium body. On tap, Dec. 26 2007.
