Better on tap, they use nitrogen instead of CO2 like in the bottles. Anyway, in both presentations taste good. Dark red color, little head in bottle, always head on tap. bitterness mild, not too much aftertaste. Perfect Porter for a colombian beer, and maybe the best one of Bogota Beer Company

330 ml bottle via Lubiere (merci!), served cool in a tulip glass. LOT 14, EXP 05 09.
App.: Very deep brown-black with a fair tan head.
Aroma: A fair bit of slightly ashen chocolate, some dark coffee, touch of soy sauce and brine-like savoury notes, a hint of brightness.
Palate: Medium-ish body, almost no carbonation.
Flav.: The malts are dark but a bit fruitier (grapes), more dark black coffee than the nose, hints of licorice/molasses; dry with some chocolatey notes to finish and a little more licorice.
Pretty nice stuff, by far the best of the three gifts from Luc.
