Bottle sample at a tasting at Stas’s place. Thanks eyes_wide_shut. Deep amber to brown color. Aroma of malt, roast, caramel, chocolate and nuts. Bittersweetish flavor with roast, chocolate, a bit of caramel, a bit of nuts and a coffee note in a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

Bottle de Jimena. Pours a surprisingly opaque color, little bit of off white head, aroma slight coffee, burnt toast, maybe some herbal character as well. Body medium roast, if a bit slight. Finish a little underwhelming, some Graham cracker sweetness and slight roasted character. Not bad, not great.

Dark brown colour with a thin beige head. Roasted malt aroma, coffee, some fruity notes and cocoa. Light body (may be too much). Right carbonation. Good aftertaste. Nice porter but not excellent.

(330ml bottle) Pours a black body with a medium frothy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, raisins, subtle peat, and prunes. Flavor of roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, and lightly burnt bread.

Poured from a tap. Dark brown color, small off white head. Light sour malt aroma. Watery sour malt flavor with a weak finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma si quite complex, and some resin, floral, chocolate, cereal and alcohol notes are felt. In glass you can see a dark beer with a small an unstable foam head. In the taste preveals the malt flavors, with an increase in hops at the end almost like an IPA but dark. Quite good but not the best for a porter beer.

Sabor tostado delicado, agradable aroma. Achocolatada que cae bien al paladar. Excelente Porter.

Aroma has sweetish berry notes, raspberries, vanilla and hints of hay. Flavour has juicy raspberries, some vanilla, distant roasty notes and hints of cocoa. Feels slightly watery. Not the most typical porter but I like this anyway.

Pours dark ruby red color with a small head. Aroma of faintly toasted malts, some licorice, tart fruits, faint chocolate and ash. Flavor of malts, cocoa, some fruit notes, distant berries and ash. Strong carbonation, watery palate, dry finish. Decent effort anyway.

Cola-brown pour with a tan head. The aroma is woody ash and roasted with some dark chocolate. It has a medium body, slightly sticky texture, and average carbonation. The taste is mildly sweet with a roasted, dry finish.
